Anthony Charles Giangreco II

Anthony "Tony" C. Giangreco, Jr. (78) of Spokane, WA, formerly of Ridgefield, WA, passed away Wednesday (12/31/2025) at home.
Tony was born Sept 14, 1947 in Medford, MA to Dr. Anthony C. and Helen (Arnson) Giangreco. He was the second oldest son of their four children; Charlie (Suzie) Giangreco, Linda (Mick) Kellum, Maria (John) Vander Leuw. He graduated from Belmont High School in 1965 where he was a state champion discus thrower.
After graduation, Tony atteneded University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ where he met Teri Kassmir. They were married December 15, 1968. After graduatuing with BA in Business, Tony and Teri moved to California where they welcomed their daughter Lisa P. Giangreco (Seattle, WA) in 1969. The family moved to Methuen, MA and then back to California in 1970. There they welcomed their son Anthony C. (Jessica) Giangreco, III (Spokane, WA) in 1971. In 1978 the family moved to Liberty Lake, WA, where Tony worked as a wine department manager for B&B Distributors. The family were active members of Temple Beth Shalom for 13 years. They moved to Ridgefield, WA in 1991 where they lived for 32 years. They were active members of Congregation Kol Ami.
Teri predeceased Tony in December 2020. They shared 53 years of love and family joy. Tony has seven grandchildren: Havivah Giangreco (Spokane, WA), MMN3 Anthony "Ziggy" C. Giangreco IV (Goose Creek, SC), Solomon Giangreco (Spokane,WA), Shulamit Giangreco (Spokane, WA), Jessie Worley (Nine Mile Falls, WA), Cassidy(Richard) Heimark (Spokane, WA), Thomas Worley (Spokane, WA); and four great-grandchildren Kainan, Kinnley, Harlem, and Dawsen Phothivongsa. Tony is survived by his sister Linda, his two children, seven grandchildren, four great- grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled Tuesday, 01/06 in the afternoon at Northwood Park Cemetary

In leiu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Ovarian Cancer Society of Oregon and Southwest Washington.
