Anthony DiStasio Obituary (Age 85) Passed away May 20, 2011. He was born July 29, 1925 in Newark, NJ to Francisco and Maggie (DiFlumer) DiStasio. Born Antonio Distasio and raised in Newark, he resided in Little Falls, NJ during the earlier part of his life and moved to Spokane later in his life. Anthony was a dedicated family man, a good provider who never missed a day of work in his over 30 years with Rutgers University. He served in the Navy during WWII. He leaves his wife of 42 years, Andrea DiStasio; his daughter Ivonne Fiedler, grandsons Stephen Bayless and Samuel Freas; and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Heritage 10AM-5PM Thursday and Friday with the Funeral Service to be held at 11:00AM Saturday May 28th at Foothills Community Church, 11102 N. Forker Road with a private burial to follow.
