Arden Chief Master Sgt. USAF (Ret.) Moore Obituary
Passed away on July 10, 2015 of complications from battling cancer. He was born on December 10, 1936 in Burgoo, WV to Hugh and Kate Moore. Arden met and married his beloved wife, Lois Reagan on December 24, 1957 in Ft. Worth, TX. In Arden and Lois? 45 year marriage they were blessed with 3 daughters, Linda (Mark) Surmeier of Omaha, NE, Teresa Moore of Spokane, WA and Darla (Mike) King of Manhattan, KS. Arden and Lois had 4 granddaughters they loved very much, Heather Surmeier-Berg of Omaha, Lindsay Surmeier of Omaha, Krystal and Kristina Gee of Manhattan, and great-grandson Landon Berg of Omaha. Arden was preceded in death by his loving wife Lois, her parents, Arden?s parents, and his siblings Josephine Huffman, Peggy Young, Genevieve Moore, Claire Moore, Blair Moore, Eck ?Bud? Moore and Russell Moore. Arden was the 8th sibling of 12. Surviving sisters are Mary Jane Bartlett, Phillis Knight, Flora McGee, brothers Jack Moore and Robert ?Bob? Moore, many nieces and nephews. Arden joined the United States Air Force and proudly served for 30 years achieving the rank of Chief Master Sgt. He also completed his Bachelors of Science degree while serving. Arden enjoyed bowling, but some of his greatest passions were his Dallas Cowboys and his Gonzaga Bulldogs, fishing and camping. Arden was a life member of the VFW Post #3386 Airway Heights. He spent his most recent years with family and close friends. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 17, 2015 at 10:00am at heritage Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for memorial donations to go to the VFW Post 3386, Airway Heights, PO Box 149, Airway Heights, WA 99001.
