Audrey Marcella Bunn Obituary Audrey (Age 91) passed peacefully, September 3, 2015, while on vacation with family in Juneau, Alaska. She was born August 1, 1924 to Joe and Leona Turosky. She grew up near Ford, WA and graduated from Springdale High School. She met her husband, Bernie during their high school years, and were married in June 1945. Her adult life was spent in Spokane where she had several professions. She spent many years working as a beautician, continuing that profession from home while raising her two children, Steve and Carol. She also worked as a baker in food services for School District 81, and was a dental receptionist for many years. Audrey always wanted to give back to the community that she loved. Through the Associated Garden Club, you would find her helping with many philanthropic projects throughout the city and especially at Manito Park. Her many hours of service were recognized in 1994, when she was given the Woman of the Year award. She was a member of Audubon Park Methodist church and volunteered at Shriner?s Hospital until she moved to her new residence at Touchmark, on the South Hill. There, you would find her again active in their garden club, calling Bingo and leading new residents on tours. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Bernie, her son, Steve Bunn and her sisters, Verla Huffman and Rita Baker. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Schiefelbein; granddaughters Kristine Mirante (Ryan Mirante) and Lisa Schiefelbein; great-granddaughters Audra, Leah and Kamryn Mirante; daughter- in-law Vonnie Bunn; grandson Jeff Bunn (Tina Bunn); Stephenie Bunn; great-grandson Tyler Bunn; sister Laurel Beyer and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 18 at 4:00 pm at Heritage Chapel.
