Augustus "Gus" Michael Kovarik Obituary Augustus Michael Kovarik ?Gus? left us peacefully October 15, 2012. For the short time we had him in our lives, he leaves a void exponentially larger. We take comfort knowing that all Gus ever knew was love. Gus is survived by his parents Nicholas and Christie Kovarik and his big brother Teddy; great-grand parents Alice and Albert Pontarolo of Walla Walla, WA and Victor Bodyfield of Ericson, NE; grandparents Michael and Betty Pontarolo of Spokane, WA and Duane and Karen Kovarik of Ord, NE; several loving aunts and uncles: Amy (Pontarolo) and Joe Sacco, Nick Pontarolo, Angela Pontarolo, Katie (Kovarik) and Joe Opack, Luke Kovarik; and his cousin Luca Opack. Gus, we loved you all of your life and will continue to love you all of ours.
