Barbara A. Somerville Obituary (Age 90) Passed away December 8, 2017 in Spokane. She was born April 25, 1927 in Spokane to Raymond and Vaughna Young. She attended Garfield Elementary and graduated from North Central in 1945. In 1949 she married Charles A. Somerville and in 1957 they built their home on W. Nebraska where she remained until 2015 when she moved to the home of her daughter Judy Mellon. She was a seamstress, crafter, wonderful cook and grew the most amazing flowers and plants. She was the best mama to all her little doggies. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Barbara is survived by her daughter Susan (Tom) Ryan; son Charles and daughter Judy (Tim) Mellon all of Spokane; grandchildren Stephanie Hudson and Brian (Lindsay) Hudson; great-grandsons Alex and Benny; cousin Wallace Cain and her little dog Buddy.
