Barbara "Bobbie" Castle Obituary (Age 64) Our beloved Bobbie passed away October 20, 2010 with her family by her side. She was born Dec. 2, 1945 to Harold and Lucille Kramer. She was raised in Ewan, WA and graduated from St. John High School. In 1970 Bobbie had a son Brian Castle. She lived in Yakima with her sister and brother-in-law Jean and Gale Pitts while attending Yakima Community College where she got her LPN degree. She later moved back to Spokane where she attended SCC and earned her RN degree. Bobbie wanted to make a difference in other people's lives and she did for 32 years working at SHMC. In her free time she liked to travel. She went on cruises, trips to Las Vegas, Nashville and her favorite Disneyland/World. She was a devoted mother, sister, aunt and friend and everyone who knew her loved her back. She did everything she could for her family, especially her son. Bobbie also had a love for animals and volunteered at the South Hill Vet Clinic for many years, making a lot of 4-legged friends. She loved her dogs Hattie, Ben and Nicki and her cat Pandora. She is survived by her son Brian Castle, Spokane; brother Bill (Jo) Kramer, Arizona; seven nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Jean Pitts, brother-in-law Gale Pitts and great-great niece Kylee Shines. Bobbie will be deeply missed. Memorial Service 6:00PM Wednesday October 27, 2010 at Heritage Chapel.
