Barbara J. Brunette Obituary (Age 85) Barbara passed away on March 6, 2016 in Spokane, WA. She was born on December 26, 1930 in Arriba, CO to Clarence A. Pracht and Eva Esther Swallom. Barbara married James Earl Demarest October 13, 1951 and was married for 19 years having two children, Beverly and Patricia. After divorcing in 1970, she married Dale Robert Brunette June 10, 1972 and was happily married 25 years until Dale?s passing on July 12, 1997. She worked for 15 years at Seattle First National Bank in Omak, WA, 11 years at URM in Spokane and was a motel owner for 17 years in Clarkson, WA before retiring. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, playing cards, gardening in her flower bed, listening to big band music, traveling the states with her husband Dale and her many dear friendships in her final years at Lilac Plaza. Above all she loved the Lord and served Him faithfully. Barbara leaves behind her brother Velman (Lurie) Pracht; daughters Beverly (Sid) Hoots and Patricia (Art Sr.) Hautala; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by both parents and her husband Dale Brunette. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Home.
