Barbara J. Nystrom Obituary NYSTROM, Barbara J. (Age 81) Barbara was born on January 4, 1932 in Pierre, SD to Charles "Bud" and Mary Elizabeth "Betty" McMullen. She attended high school in Pierre, SD. She married Marvin Nystrom in 1981 in Pierre and they have enjoyed many happy years together. Barbara was a very active member at Messiah Lutheran Church in Spokane and Lamb of God Lutheran Church at Priest Lake. She is survived by her loving husband Marvin; her brother Charles "Ronny" McMullen; her five children, Audrey, Paul, Kathy, Laura and Jeff; and four grandchildren. Barbara touched the lives of countless people throughout her life. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. A Celebration of Barbara's life will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 11:00AM at Messiah Lutheran Church, 4202 N. Belt, Spokane, WA 99205. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church in Spokane, WA, Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Priest Lake, ID, or the Hospice of Spokane Hospice House, P.O. Box 2215, Spokane, WA 99210.
