Barbara J. Thompson Obituary Barbara Thompson was born to Virginia and Melvin Heinz in 1932. Barbara passed away at home on December 2, 2015. She attended Rogers High School and retired from Bank of America. She enjoyed gambling and also competed in Volkswalking races all around the Northwest. Barbara had an indomitable spirit which helped her overcome three hip surgeries and breast cancer. She is survived by her loving son Tim. Viewing will be at Heritage Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 9th from 10-5 and Thursday, December 10th from 8-5. Graveside services will be at Greenwood Memorial Terrace, N 211 Government Way on Friday, December 11th at 1 PM.
