Barbara Jean (Demers) Clark Obituary (Age 85) Passed away at her home in Spokane with family on February 16, 2015. Barbara was born to Harvey and Eva DeMers on December 9, 1929. She graduated from John Rogers High School in 1948. She married her lifelong love Howard Clark who preceded her in death after 60 years of marriage. From that union came three sons Roy, Rod (Kathy), and Ron (Cheryl), five grandchildren: Stephanie, Sean, Katrina, Jessi, and Courteney, and six great grandchildren: Alexis, Akira, Bo, Aurora, Chase and Star who survive her. She is also survived by her sister Dorothy Demers. Her brother Robert preceded her in death. Special thanks to Norma Martinez who was her loving caregiver for several years. Barbara took several art classes including drawing, painting in oils and water colors. She became a renowned artist and sold many of her pieces at art shows and festivals throughout the Pacific Northwest. She became friends to so many and will be missed. She enjoyed traveling. She was a member of the Lilac City Goldwing Association and would ride with her husband on their Honda Goldwing throughout the United States. She loved working with her hands doing various arts and crafts. She was active in the Inland Empire Gardeners Association for many years. Her garden was beautiful and even received the Garden of the Month award by the membership. A time of visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 10 am to 5 pm. Join us in celebration of Barbara?s life at Heritage Funeral Home on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 1 pm.
