December 18, 1950 - November 25, 2017

Barbara Jean (Schuh) Dodman Obituary (Age 66) Barbara passed away peacefully in her home after a long illness November 25, 2017. Barbara was born in Wenatchee, Washington on December 18, 1950. She was the youngest daughter of Oscar and Anna Schuh of Quincy, Washington. She had four sisters and two brothers. Her family operated a large wheat farm and cattle ranch north of Quincy. From a young age, she helped around the farm and prepared meals for harvest crews and ranch hands. She attended Quincy schools graduating in 1969 and would go on to marry L. Wayne Dodman in March 7, 1970. They had two sons, Shawn and Brandon, and settled down in a house near Wandermere, where they have lived happily for the last 31 years. Barbara loved to garden, cook and entertain, but family and friends were Barbaras passion and delight. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed every minute of time spent her children and grandchildren and had a wonderful way of communicating with children actually getting down to their level. She is survived by her husband, children, and four grandkids in Spokane. Her presence will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held 2:00pm Friday, December 1, 2017 at Heritage Funeral Home.
