Barbara Lee Gutman Obituary (Age 74) Barbara graduated into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 22, 2011. Barbara was born on May 8, 1936 in Toledo, Oregon and later moved to Roseburg, Oregon in 1948 where she met and married Rodney Dean Gutman October 16, 1952. Rodney and Barbara brought their family to Spokane in 1967 where she has since resided. Her active life included Cub Scout Leader, Girl Scout and Campfire Girl Leader, Christian Women's Club Chairman, Sunday School Teacher, Friendship Bible Coffee Hostess, Avon Salesperson, Cameo Estate Sale Assistant and Guild School Guild Member. Her hobbies and interests included oil painting, gardening, canning, cooking, faithful school sports spectator as well as being an avid reader. Barbara is survived by her husband, Rodney Gutman of Spokane; children, Scott (Terrian) Gutman, Shannon (Dave) Granlund, Andy Gutman, all of Spokane, and Suzy (Dennis) Anderson of Trout Lake, WA. She is also survived by her brother Samuel Gosso of Roseburg, Oregon; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Barbara was outgoing, fun-loving, organized and full of energy until she succumbed to an illness 24 years ago. She will be missed by all of her family members and remembered for her unquestionable dedication as a wife and mother. A private Memorial Service will be held for the family.
