Bernadine Jeanette Leibrecht Obituary (Age 94) Passed away Tuesday, March 19th at home in Spokane. She was born July 17, 1918 in Lacrosse, WA to William and Laura Self, one of seven children. She graduated from high school in Post Falls, ID. She is survived by a son Robert J. (Doris) Hodge; daughters Saundra Jo (Jerry) Dormaier, and Donna Jean Mindermann; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a stepdaughter Lani Love. She was preceded in death by John Hodge, Cletus Cottingham, Joseph Leibrecht, Eric Dormaier (grandson) and Delvin Mindermann (son-in-law). She had her own drapery business in the 1950s and later was a consultant for local interior designers. She was an excellent seamstress and created many beautiful quilts in her later years. Priest Lake was her favorite summer retreat, which she enjoyed with her family for many years. In later years she enjoyed and loved her friends at Rockwood Lane Retirement Center in Spokane. A special thanks to Bernice and to Hospice of Spokane. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 2PM Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Heritage Chapel. Contributions may be sent to Hospice of Spokane, P.O.
