November 23, 1911 - March 11, 2011

Bernice Beverly Cuddeback Obituary (Age 99) Of Baldwin Park, California went to heaven on March 11, 2011 in Pico Rivera, CA. She was born November 23, 1911 in Spokane to George and Mamie Balloue. She was baptized at St Paul Methodist Church and lived with her mother Mamie and step-father George Clarke while attending Emerson Grade School and North Central High School. She married John Millin, who drove for Greyhound Bus Lines. If he was operating out of Moscow, ID or Pullman Bernice would find a nice apartment, living there until he was transferred to Spokane. They moved in with her mother and step-father and she took care of them in their later years. She loved flowers and knitting and her handwork was superb in making blankets and flower arrangements for her many friends and relatives. She volunteered at the Veterans Hospital and helped on many veterans projects. In the 1950's they moved to California and purchased a double wide coach and had it moved to the Blue Lantern Trailer Park where John was manager until his death. Bernice was always active in her church and was a member of the Grand Chapter #163 Order of Eastern Star in Spokane. She married Vernon A. Cuddeback and they enjoyed their retirement years traveling in the van they had made into comfortable living quarters. After his death she lived alone for the next 12 years. Bernice is survived by her first cousins Jean Oas and Ray Kreager of Spokane and Dale Kreager of C'da, ID and many second cousins. The family would like to thank all of her wonderful friends and church members for their loving care while she was in the Rivera Care Center. Graveside Service 1:00PM Tuesday March 22, 2011 at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
