Bernice June Strecker Obituary (Age 85) Bernice passed away on March 21, 2014 in Veradale, WA and was born June 27, 1928 in Washburn, ND on the farm to Harold and Esther Pfaff. She was one of three children. She is preceded in death by her sister Florence Docktor, by her parents Harold and Esther Pfaff, by her husband Marvin A. Strecker and by numerous in-laws. She is survived by her son Douglas M. (Jane) Strecker, her daughter Valorie J. (Johnnie) Payne, brother Kenneth (Wanda) Pfaff, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Her last job was at J.C. Penny, then she enjoyed home life and church work at Central Baptist Church. God was first in life, her family was second. Viewing will be on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 2 PM 5 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Heritage Funeral Home followed by a Graveside Service at Spokane Memorial Gardens.
