Beth Ann Youngs

Beth Ann Youngs went home to be with the Lord on December 10, 2024 at the age of 60.  She was a Spokane native born to Patricia Lawellin & Ray Young and never ventured far away.

A beautiful young graduate of Shadle Park High School, she had various jobs including the Spokane Journal of Business for several years.  Later on she went to Bank of America working in several departments for many years and eventually in the vault.

Beth loved being outside in the sun while working on her tan, yard and flower garden in the lovely countryside of Green Bluff. Many tell the tale of her mowing her lawn with her garden tractor late into the summer evenings with the headlights on! Later on she enjoyed the lake life in her quaint cottage at Deer Lake alongside her 2 brother’s summer homes. She got her “gift of gab” from both sides of her lineage and was always making people laugh while making funny faces.

She struggled many years starting with esophageal cancer and other ailments, but was always a strong trooper even continuing to work while enduring radiation and chemotherapy.

She especially loved her quad iced vanilla lattes & always had one around. There were always pets of some sort around, from Julie the chicken, to Bob’s hunting dogs, especially Barney & Queenie, CJ, Bentley, Mama, various kitty cats, and lately little Miss April, all of whom were very dear to her.

Anyone that has been to her house at Christmastime has been delighted by the spectacular & vast array of the Grinch that invaded her whole living room. “Grinchmas” will never be the same without her.

But what captivated her heart the most were her beautiful grandchildren that she loved to spoil. She always had the candy drawer filled for them.  She will be dearly missed by her whole family.

Beth is survived by her high school sweetheart & husband Bobby Youngs, her sons, Robert Youngs and wife Jenna and children, Joey, Ryleigh, Easton, & Joseph; son, Travis Youngs; father Ray Young and wife Renie; brother Todd Young and wife Cindy and their children; Rachael & her children, McKayla, Alyssa, Anthony & Matthew; Kailey and husband Bryan George, and their children Peyton & Parker; Cortney & husband Cody Clark, & children Liam, Caroline, Cayden, Camila, & Charlotte; brother Shawn Young and wife Terri & their children, Dylan & Madison. She also loved all her cousins, nieces & nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Lawellin. She was such a fun & integral part of this family & will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, 508 N Government Way, Spokane, WA on January 11, 2025 at 1PM, with a graveside service at 2PM.
