Betty Joan Brandon Obituary (Age 87) Betty passed away on June 5th, 2016 in Spokane WA. She was born on March 4th, 1929 in Spokane WA to Boyde A. and Hilda M. (Reker) Fink. Betty was raised in Tekoa, WA and graduated from Tekoa High School and Sacred Heart School of Nursing in Spokane. She followed her vocation for most of her adult life as a Registered Nurse from 1949 to 1994. She married J.T. Brandon, a local farmer in 1949 and raised three sons. She later moved to Spokane where she continued her nursing career and was active in Chapter DD of PEO. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and time at the lake with friends and family. Survivors include her children; Mark (Nancy) Brandon of Vancouver WA, Chris (Matt Lawrence) Brandon of Seattle WA, Garth (Annette) Brandon of Spokane WA, grandchildren; Tricia Brandon, Nick (Kami) Brandon, Leanne Zinnecker, Shane Brandon, Melissa Brandon, Jennifer (Brenden) Stelter, Brian Johns, six great-grandchildren, her sister in-law Addie Mae Sienknecht and her children, and the children of her cousin, Larry Reeker (deceased). A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 9th, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
