Betty Lee Dunham Obituary (Age 89) Betty L. Dunham passed away August 19, 2018 in Spokane, WA. She was born in Spokane on July 31, 1929, to Leland and Ruth Hall. She has an older brother, Gene, and had an older sister, Maxine. She was a graduate of North Central High School, Betty was a lifelong Spokane/Five Mile area resident. She married Elmer Dunham on September 4, 1947, in Spokane. She spent her entire life as a homemaker taking care of her family and home and raising four sons, Ted, Tom, Jim and Scott. She belonged to the Five Mile Grange where she held the position of secretary/treasurer for many years. She was also a member of the Five Mile Homemakers Club. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, beading, painting, crafts, camping, grandkids and the ZAGS. She also enjoyed the family gatherings at Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve in the old farmhouse on Five Mile. She is survived by three sons, Ted, Tom and Scott, nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer and son Jim. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. We are extremely grateful to all the caregivers who cared for Betty and Elmer and all the friends and neighbors who helped them while living on Five Mile Prairie.
