Betty Lou "Babe" Kibben Obituary
(Age 71) Passed away peacefully Sunday, September 4th. She was born November 14, 1944 to Frank and Violet Belongia in Rapid River, Michigan. Betty graduated from Rapid River HS in 1963. She married Edward Kernats (widowed) Richard Sutter (divorced) Bruce Kibben (widowed). In her 71 years she did many things, some of which include school bus driver, auto worker, and sales agent. She is survived by three sisters Doris Hawkins, Deloris Mattila, Barbera Kramer; one brother Michael Belongia; six children Beverly Desser, Yvonne Tanner, Alan Belongia, Michael Kernats (Sherry), Lori Bush (Rick), Scott Sutter (Ann); twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Betty enjoyed many things in life. She enjoyed family, camping, fishing and gardening/canning. She will be missed dearly by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce Kibben and three brothers. Visitation for Betty will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Thursday, September 8th from 10am ? 5pm. A funeral service will be held 10:30am Friday, September 9th at Heritage Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
