Bill Pruitt Obituary (Age 84) Passed away Thursday, October 6th. He was born July 17, 1932 to Doris Pruitt Ethridge in Cumming, GA. He joined the United States Air Force in 1952 and served our country as an airplane and helicopter pilot for 20 years. He married Dottie in 1956 and they were married for 56 years, until her death in 2012. During his Air Force career, he and Dottie lived throughout the US and Europe and started their family. Bill was a proud patriot and a decorated Vietnam War veteran. He retired from the Air Force in 1972 in Rapid City, SD. At that time, Bill and Dottie moved to Spokane, where they raised their two children and he worked for the US Postal Service for 20 years. Bill was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He most loved time spent with family and friends and his involvement with Central Lutheran Church. He also greatly enjoyed his annual trip to Kauai. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dottie, and survived by his daughter Ellen Fasano; his son, Brad Pruitt; and his four grandchildren, Nicholas and Michael Fasano, and William and Emma Pruitt. Funeral services will be held at Central Lutheran Church,
