Boyd Wayne Brockmier Obituary (Age 75) With his wife by his side, Boyd Brockmier passed away at his home on the evening of April 7, 2010. Born in Fortuna, North Dakota on July 30, 1934 to Jess and Rosemond Brockmier. He graduated from North Central High School in 1952 and completed a machinist apprenticeship with Union Pacific Railroad in March, 1956. He joined the United States Navy in April of 1956 and served as an Engineman until 1960. Upon completion of his enlistment, Boyd returned to Spokane where he worked as a machinist for the Union Pacific Railroad until his retirement in 1994. Boyd was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and is survived by his wife, Delnora, two sisters, Della Marvin and Verna Snider, five daughters, Lynn Stamper, Leslie O'Dell, Jill Brockmier, Jody Beale and Jo Johnson, and ten grandchildren. A Grave Side Memorial Service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on April 14, 2010 at 1:00PM.
