Bradley Phillip Byrne

October 24, 1983 - February 09, 2018

Bradley Phillip Byrne Obituary (Age 34) Bradley passed away February 9, 2018. He was born October 24, 1983 in Spokane and grew up on the family's Long Lake property on Byrne Road. As a boy, he took advantage of hiking, shooting and riding dirt bikes with his brother Brian and best friend David, and boating and fishing on the lake. He enjoyed salmon fishing on the coast and camping on the St. Joe. Following graduation from Lakeside High School, he worked road construction in Nevada before returning to join his brother in a landscaping business - Empire Irrigation. As part of a small company Brad found himself doing almost everything to make the company successful: scheduling, bids, design, installs, equipment operator and crew supervisor. His decade long battle with cancer (three stem cell transplants) slowed him down at times but with loving care from his mother, doctors, friends and family, he always found his way back in the truck with Brian, joking, laughing and scheming. Everyone, from customers to contractors, loved his ready smile and quick humor. It was hard to be anything but happy around Brad. We will miss him every day for the joy he brought us each day. The smiles in heaven have only gotten bigger. Brad was preceded in death by his father Donald Byrne. He is survived by his mother Phyllis, and his brother Brian (Jana) Byrne. The family would like to offer a sincere thank you to the staff at Cancer Care NW, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and Sacred Heart Hospital that took such great care of Bradley over the years. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 24th at 2:30pm at Red Lion Spokane Inn at the Park, 303 W North River Dr., Spokane, WA 99201
