Bruce Wayne McLain Obituary (Age 76) Of Colville, passed away on October 18, 2013 at home. Graveside services will be held at Greenwood Memorial Terrace, 211 N. Government Way on Thursday, October 24th at 2:30PM Bruce was born in Spokane to Neil and Dorothy McLain on June 8, 1937. He went to school at Franklin Elementary and graduated from Lewis & Clark High School. He married G. Janet (Jan) Eppley on October 17, 1959 in Spokane. He worked as a microwave technician for Pacific Northwest Bell for 30 years. He was involved in Telephone Pioneers of America, Antique Wireless Association, Goodguys Rod & Custom Association, National Street Rod Association, and was an ex-officio member of Sweet Adelines of Colville. Bruce is survived by wife Jan, children Rebecca (Bruce) Chesterman, Christopher (Robin) McLain, and Melissa McLain, brother Gregory McLain, granddaughters Cassandra (Tyler) McLain-Saathoff, Megan McLain, and Miranda Chesterman, and great-grandson Henry McLain-Saathoff. Memorials may be given to The Nature Conservancy or a charity of your choice. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff of Alderwood Manor and St. Luke?s Rehabilitation Institute, Spokane, and N.E. Washington Home Health. He loved his tractor, leatherman, flashlights, pets, and all things that fly (except "bad bugs"), but his family was the most important thing in his life.
