Bud Ernest Anderson Obituary Bud was born in La Center, WA to Ernest and Marjorie Anderson. He spent his early years in La Center and graduated from Longview, WA High School. He was a veteran of WWII in The U.S. Navy and was Quartermaster 1st Class on PT Boat 365 in the South Pacific. He was an expert Signalman. In 1947 he moved to Seattle and attended the Univ. of Washington. He worked for the Boeing Co. for 15 years as a Preliminary Design Engineer. Bud and his wife moved to Spokane in 1990 where he remained. He is preceded in death by his older sister, Rebecca, as well as his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Anderson; children, Kris Anderson (Suwannee) of Volcano, HI, Linda Anderson, Mad River, CA. Stepson Douglas (Juanita) Thomas, Lake Stevens, WA.; Grandchildren, Nick, Andrew, Jeanelle, Emmie and Steven. Great-Grandchildren, Aiyana and Jarek; his sister Jane Laukkonen of Lake City, WA and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Bud was an artist, Musician, craftsman, pilot and sailor. He was proud to have been a Scout Master for eight years. He requested no services be held, but a gathering of friends and family take place when all could be together. Cremation is entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home. Donations in his honor may be made to the American Heart Assoc. or a charity of choice.
