C. Wayne Delzer Obituary (Age 77) Passed away December 6, 2010 in Spokane. He was born in Odessa, WA March 3, 1933 and graduated from Reardan High School. He raised and raced thoroughbreds and was a dry land farmer at the Delzer Farm (est.1940) in Nine Mile Falls in 1963 until his passing. Wayne worked many years at the Spokane Flour Mill and then retired from Jeld-Wen. He enjoyed fishing at Yokum Lake and hunting elk in the Blue Mountains with longtime hunting partner Gene Collins. He is survived by Charlotte Delzer; sister Donalee Lee of Bremerton; sons Gary (Carolee) Delzer of Mead, WA and Von Delzer of Spokane; daughters Jewel (Duane) Peterson of Little Elm, TX and Darla (Larry) Bailey of Spokane; nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Calvin and Elsie Delzer; sister Joyce Kellison and longtime companion Joe, his dog. Visitation will be 10-5PM Friday at Heritage and Funeral Service 12Noon Saturday, December 11th at Heritage Chapel.
