Candace W. "Candy" Nelson Obituary NELSON, Candace W. "Candy" (Age 59) Candance W. Nelson (Jones), born in Spokane on December 27, 1954, passed away unexpectedly on September 4, 2014 from cancer. She graduated from Ferris High School in 1972. Candy spent countless hours training and caring for horses. The last 15 yrs of her life, Candy dedicated herself to caregiving leaving a lasting impression to all she helped. She is preceded in death by parents, Ralph and Constance Jones; husbands, Randel Nelson and Tony Davidson; sisters, Jacqueline Jones and Pandora Jones. She is survived by her loving daughter, Brandell (Albert) Mitchell; grandsons Miles and Maze; granddaughter Megan; siblings Carol Schley, Jerinne (Don) Audel, Jennifer (Bill) Sookochoff, Jonquil (Tim) Swartout, Ralph (Susan) Jones, Clive Jones (Happy), Thane Jones; niece Robin Robertson who was a special presence in her life as well as her extended family of in-laws, Al, Molly, Shannon and Cara (Tim, Louise, Payton and Marvin). She was loved by many, many more and will be missed by all. A private family graveside service is TBD. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice House of Spokane.
