Carl Allen Palmer Obituary Carl Allen Palmer entered into rest March 24, 2016 in Spokane, WA surrounded by family. He was born in Nampa, ID on January 14, 1939 to Luvelt and Bernice (Sheffield) Palmer. He met RowEna Hutton and they were married October 7, 1962 in El Monte, CA. He and RowEna began their first pastoral ministry in Milwaukie, OR in 1965, and then moved back to Kuna, ID in 1972. He was the pastor of the Spokane Church of God (7th Day) for 27 years. During those years, he impacted many people's lives. He was known for his blackberry patch and the huge, delicious berries it produced. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, going camping and playing games together. Carl was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Raymond. He was survived by his wife of 54 years. He leaves three children: David (Janet) Palmer; Carla (Steve) Decker; Karen (Ben) Edwards; 9 grandchildren; 12 brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service is scheduled at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 4 p.m. at Mt. Spokane High School Auditorium. Viewing is from 1-5 p.m. on March 31 at Heritage Funeral Home in Spokane, WA.
