Carl Louis Wolfrum Obituary Passed away on August 17, 2009 in Spokane, WA. He was born on January 20, 1924 to Bill and Martha Wolfrum at a farm in Davenport, WA. He attended grade school and high school in Davenport graduating from Davenport High School in 1943. While in grade school he delivered the evening paper and by high school he ran the projector for the movie theaters in Davenport and surrounding areas. He always believed in hard work. Carl joined the U.S. Army in January 1944 and served in the European Theater during World War II doing reconnaissance in a tank battalion at the time of the Battle of the Bulge. He received a purple heart. He married Hazel Logsdon in September 1947 in Davenport, WA. He attended Spokane Trade School as an electrical apprentice. He worked for Rod's Electric for 38 years. He taught night school for the electrical apprentices at Spokane Community College for 18 years. His hobby was photography from still pictures, movies and video. Carl enjoyed dancing, especially square dancing, for many years. He was a member Emmanuel (All Saints) Lutheran Church for 62 years and the Electrical Union #73. He was a past member of the Moose Lodge and BOF. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Hazel; daughter Vickie (Jim) Johnson; son Bradley (Pamela) Wolfrum; grandchildren Mickey Hough and Sumer Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Aaron Hough, Kendall Hough and Makenzie Johnson; one brother. A viewing will be held on Friday, August 21, 2009 at Heritage Funeral Home from 12 to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, August 22 at 10 a.m. at All Saints Lutheran Church. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 11 a.m. at All Saints Lutheran Church.
