Carlene was born on December 16, 1933, in Stratford, Oklahoma, to Carl and Lily Alyne Graves. She graduated from high school in Norwalk, CA. Shortly after high school, she graduated from checker’s school. Carlene moved to Bend, OR in 1972 where she trained and became a cake decorator.

Carlene Graves married Willian Robert Jiles on October 21, 1951, and the couple had 3 children together. She will be missed by many because of the way she loved and lived her life for others.

Carlene is survived by her children; daughter, Frances Huntington of Onalaska, WA; her son, Daniel Jiles of Bend, OR; and her son, Paul Jiles of Otis Orchards, WA. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Jiles; her sister, Mary Vanderpool, her sister, Margaret Cardwell, and her brother, John Graves.
