Caroline R. (Skaug) Catling Obituary (Age 81) After battling breast cancer, she went home to glory to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A person of integrity and faith. Always helping others in the time of need and sharing her faith with family and friends. Born January 14, 1934 in Portland, OR, raised in Idaho, died August 5, 2015 in Spokane Valley, WA. Survived by her children John Catling, Richard Catling, Ruth Bishop (John), and her brother Joe Skaug (Lois); her grandchildren Jason, Leanna, Danielle, Richard Paul, and three great-grandchildren; also numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by her husband, David Catling, her parents, Rev. Merrill C. and Ruby Skaug, and three brothers. A Memorial Service will be held on August 25, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Berean Bible Church, 10910 E Boone Ave., Spokane Valley, WA.
