Catherine "Katie" Roe Obituary
Katie, age 95, was born on July 2, 1914 in Agency, Iowa to Henry and Ida Wilson. She lived in Colorado for a number of years before moving to Spokane in 1973. Katie loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. She also loved to sew, her flowers and gardening. Katie always took pride in being able to live independently until 95 years of age. She was a active member of Audubon Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Oren in 1977 and her only son Paul in 1978. Katie is survived by her granddaughter LaKay (Mike) Bergin, daughter-in-law Dixie Lewis,three great-grandsons Ryan, Aaron and Cameron Bergin, nieces and nephews. She touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 16th, 12:00-5:00pm and Thursday, June 17th, 8:00am-5:00pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 18th at 1:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made in Katie's name to Hospice of Spokane.
