Charlene Janet Barbour Obituary (Age 83) Charlene Barbour of Nine Mile Falls, WA began her eternal dance with the Lord on July 5, 2018. She was born on March 7, 1935 in Crooksville, OH to Reverend Ellis H. and Martha S. Penrod. She was one of six children. All have preceded her in death except her brother, Dane Penrod of Crooksville, OH. Charlene attended high school in Zanesville, OH and then went to work in a local glass factory. She married George Barbour, Jr. in 1955. They had four children: Deborah (Bill) Munro, Darrell (Nancy) Barbour, Thomas (Deceased) Barbour, and Diane Barbour. She and her family migrated West to Lake Havasu City, AZ. She retired from Havasu Regional Hospital as a dietary assistant, where she received numerous awards of excellence in 2001. Charlene was a member of Dietary Manager?s Association, Ladies Auxiliary to VFW, Women of the Moose, and Fraternal Order of Eagles in Lake Havasu. She enjoyed crocheting, crafting, gardening, bowling and most of all, dancing! She is also survived by her grandchildren, Joel Munro and Rachel Munro-Schauble; and four great-grandchildren, Macade, Bailey, Camden and Dakota. There will be a celebration of her life on July 25, 2018 at 5pm at the home of Charlene?s daughter in Nine Mile.
