Charlene Y. Powe Obituary Charlene Y. Powe, age 80, of Spokane, passed away January 7, 2011 after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born in N. D. May 18, 1930. She is survived by her sons, Gary of Sultan and Melvin of Airway Heights, 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson, sister Carolee Nyborg and brother Daryl Bailly, several nephews, nieces and cousins. She was preceded in death by two sons, her parents and brother Don. She spent many hours volunteering at the cancer Discovery Shop and enjoyed several years with the Hillyard Belles. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
