Charles L Lunsman III Obituary Charles L. Lunsman III (79) of Post Falls, Idaho passed away peacefully on Sunday October 22,2023. Charles, affectionately known as �Chuck�, was born on February 15,1944, in Santa Monica, California, to Charles L Lunsman Jr and Mildred Mae Johns Lunsman. He graduated from Northrup Institute of Technology in Inglewood, California with a degree in Electronic Engineering. Prior to getting his degree, Chuck served 4 years in the United States Navy from 1964-1968 and served in the Vietnam War. Chuck married the late Victoria Anne Bryant on May 10, 1968, and the couple had Stephen and Tamara. Chuck then married Elvira Brautigam on July 7th 1984, and the couple had Michelle and Jeffrey. Chuck worked for companies like Texas Instruments, Raytheon (building various missile systems), Parsons, and Lockheed Martin (FAA support). Chuck enjoyed traveling to Hawaii and camping around the Pacific Northwest. You could find Chuck most weekends tending to his garden and the many roses he planted throughout the years. Chuck was also an avid sports fan. In the earlier years he loved the LA Dodgers and LA Rams. Later he would root for the Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Mariners. Chuck is survived by his wife Elvira and daughter Michelle, both of Post Falls, ID; his son Jeff of Spokane, WA; Son Steve of Seattle, WA; and daughter Tami of Seattle, WA; brother Craig of San Franciso, Ca; and sister Elaine of Huntington Beach, Ca. He leaves behind 7 grandchildren. Chuck is proceeded in death by his father Charles L Lunsman Jr and his Mother Mildred Mae Johns Lunsman. Chuck�s Celebration of Life is scheduled for 12:30 on November 10th, 2023, at Heritage Funeral Home (508 N Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224).
