Charles Richard Wilks Obituary (Age 70) In loving memory of Charles Richard Wilks, born Sept. 6, 1941, in Coeur d?Alene. Chuck passed away peacefully at home on April 28, 2012. Chuck was at home in the care of his family and passionate care providers Katy, Julie and Amy from Hospice of North Idaho. Chuck attended BYU and served in the United States Navy. He was a correctional officer for the Washington, D.C., Department of Corrections in Lorton, Va., and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was an avid fisherman especially loved fishing on Hauser Lake. Chuck will be sorely missed by his loving wife, Barbara; his many children, grandchildren, siblings; and many other family members. He was preceded in death and will be reunited with his son, Colin; his father, Charles Raymond Wilks; his mother, Maxine May; and his brother, Justin Wilks. A memorial service and celebration of Chuck?s life is being planned for late summer. Heritage Funeral Home, 508 N. Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224, is in charge of the arrangements.
