Cheryl Faye Bakker Obituary After a year long courageous battle with ovarian cancer, Cheryl Bakker passed away June 12th at the Hospice House of Spokane. She fought this battle hard with a strong faith in Christ and a positive attitude. Cheryl is the only daughter in a family of six children. She was born in Bellingham, WA. She graduated from Meridian High School in 1967, and spent much of her adult life in Republic, WA and Spokane, WA. Cheryl is survived by her father Charles Bakker and aunt Jennie Bakker, both of Lynden, WA., her daughter Tracy (Wayne Wright), grandchildren: Todd, AJ, Randy, and Joe all of Spokane, WA, brothers Bruce Bakker (Barbara) of Lee's Summit, MO, Keith Bakker (Susan) of Bellingham, WA, sisters-in-law Margie Bakker, of Bellingham, WA, Vicky (Ken Visser) of Lynden, WA, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother Hilda Bakker, brothers, Darryl Bakker, Duane Bakker, and Dale Bakker, step-mother Lena Bakker, and a very special great-niece Anna Hulsebus. Cheryl will be most remembered for her love of family and friends, her love of Christ, her hospitality, and always ready smile. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice House of Spokane, 121 S. Arthur, Spokane, Wa 99202 in Cheryl's honor.
