Christopher James Burton passed away on November 25, 2024. He was 42 years old. Chris was born May 15, 1982 in Ft. Hood, Texas to Catherine (Charlee) Churchill and Richard Burton, and raised by his Dad, Mike Johnson.
Chris did not fit the mold of the conventional worker or hobbyist. He was unconventional in many ways. Chris had a way of endearing himself to those around him. He was good with kids including his nieces and nephews who he loved dearly, and he never missed the chance to hold the door open for a stranger.
Throughout his brief and wild journey, he taught us about patience, unconditional love, and the importance of laughing through life's most difficult moments. He was a complex soul; imperfect but deeply loved. His memory will live on within all who knew and loved him for who he was.
Chris is survived by his Dad, Mike Johnson (Sandy), sister Carrie Carson (James), sister Danielle Rasley (Jeff). Preceded in death by his Mom Charlee Johnson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 25, 2025 at Tamarack Event House from 12pm - 4pm.
