Christopher Tod Kirschner Obituary Christopher Todd Kirschner was born to Marilyn A. and Dr. Fred Kirschner, Sr. on March 19, 1962 in Toledo Ohio. He moved to Las Vegas in 1969, graduated from Valley High School in 1980 and attended UNLV. Chris moved to Spokane WA in 2003 and attended Spokane Community College, studying to become a paralegal. Chris was always a hard worker, starting with carrying the newspaper at the age of 11. While attending college he worked numerous construction assignments. Chris was seen as being very intelligent, amiable, having a quick wit, and being an avid reader. His sense of humor was incomparable. He lived his life pretty much on his terms. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn A. (nee Marlatt) Kirschner. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Marilyn Kirschner (nee McDowell), his brother, Dr. Fred and Kim Kirschner, Jr., his father, Dr. Fred Kirschner, Sr. and stepmother, Alice, his uncle, Louis A and Rosalind Marlatt, his aunt, Ruth Marlatt, his brother?s stepson, Shayne Davis, his wife?s mother , Marjorie Hazel McDowell, his wife?s son, Alan Ray McDowell, his sister-in-law Susan McDowell-Ho and husband Yuc Ho. There will be a private memorial service held at St. John?s Episcopal Church in Spokane WA at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 17, 2011. A private memorial service will also be held in Las Vegas, NV, to be announced at a later date. At the request of his family any remembrance of Chris?s life may be directed to the Hospice of Spokane at 121 South Arthur, Spokane WA 99202 or to PO. Box 2215, Spokane, WA 99210.
