Christy MonaLisa Botner, 57, of Spokane Washington, peacefully passed away on June 6th 2025. Leaving behind a legacy of love, empathy and loyalty to her family and anyone who was blessed enough to have crossed paths with her.


Born in Shelton, Washington on March 16th 1968 Christy became known for her undying compassion, and her ability to love everyone even when they couldn’t love themselves. Christy served the community for decades by offering a shoulder to cry on, a safe place for the entire neighborhood, and the most loving guidance during rough times to anyone who reached out to her. Christy loved spending time with her family, especially her Grandchildren who were her pride and joy, making memories, teaching life skills, and spreading smiles and love that will be remembered and cherished for generations to come.


Christy joins her beloved son Damian William, and grandson Deshaun Ray and is survived by the love of her life, her husband, Wayne. Her 4 children Angie, Rocky, Dalton and Clayton. And her 6 grandchildren Ziva Juanetta Joyce, Layna Jaycie Jade, Zabrina MonaLisa, Fiona Daisy, Tsuki Jamie Jane, and Aerith Violet.


A visitation hour will be held Thursday, June 19th, 2025, at 11:30 am at Heritage Funeral & Cremation. 508 N. Government Way. Spokane, WA 99224. A Funeral Service to follow at 12:30 pm. Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 pm at Fairmount Memorial Park. 5200 W Wellesley Ave, Spokane, WA 99205.
