Claire Marie Houdak Obituary (Age 84) Claire was born on March 23, 1928 in Great Falls, MT to Grant U. Zimmerman and Olianna V. Swenson. She passed away on September 30, 2012. Claire moved to Spokane where she graduated from Lewis & Clark High School. She met and married James Conrad and they had six children. Claire was a cashier at Albertsons for many years. She was also a first responder for the Deer Lake Fire Department. In 1978 Claire married Lewis Houdak and they moved to Deer Lake. These were some of the happiest times in her life, she loved it there. She moved back to Spokane after Lewis passed, and resided here until her passing. We will all miss her. Claire was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Houdak and her daughter Judith Marie. She is survived by her children: James Edwin, Nancy Ann, Susan Lee, Cally Mae, and Valerie Joy, all of Spokane. Claire is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 1:00PM at Heritage.
