Clara Ann (Wunderlich) Potter Obituary (Age 65) Clara Ann Potter passed away October 3, 2017 in Spokane, WA. She was born on May 19, 1952 in Idaho Falls, ID to Eugene and Mary Ruth Wunderlich. Clara moved to Spokane in December 1952 and grew up in the Garden Springs area. She attended Garden Springs Elementary, Windsor School, Cheney Junior High and graduated from Cheney High School in 1970. She graduated from Beauty School after high school and later from Phillips Junior College in 1993. She married Kenneth Potter on May 22, 1999 in Spokane, WA. She has lived in Spokane, North Carolina, Germany, North Dakota and in the Windsor area since 1993. She worked at the Longhorn Barbeque for over 25 years and Tamarack Center since 1993. She loved horseback riding, camping, waterskiing and fishing. She was an animal lover and enjoyed her pets. Clara was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Clara is survived by her husband, Kenneth M. Potter of Spokane; her mother, M. Ruth (Don) Waite of Wellton, AZ; sister, Judy (Steve) Zimmerman of Dundee, OR; nephew, Joseph (Marissa) Wunderlich of Deer Park, WA; as well as various nieces, nephews and five sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene D. Wunderlich; and her brother, Ron E. Wunderlich. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 7th at 10am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 10405 W. Melville Rd., Cheney, WA 99004. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Hospice of Spokane.
