Cleo Barton "Bunka" Walter Obituary
(Age 94) Cleo was born on November 6, 1922 to Ray L. and Stella. She died on March 9, 2017. Following the death of her mother, her stepmother, Inez took over raising a confident, intelligent young woman. Cleo attended Roosevelt Elementary and Lewis and Clark High School in Spokane. She then attended WSC where she met her husband Richard. She helped with the family paint business and raised two children, Sarah (David) and Bill (Margie). She was active in Camp Fire, Whitworth Auxiliary, her church, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Daughters of the Nile. She will be greatly missed by her children and grandchildren, William (Michelle), Jennifer, Amy (Jack) and Peter and her great-grandchildren Noah, Claire, Maggie, Miles and Jane. A private service will be held at a later date.
