Cloyce E. Preedy Obituary (Age 87) Cloyce passed away on October 19, 2011 in Spokane. He was born on June 18, 1924 to Evert and Maude Preedy. He graduated from Deer Park High School in 1942. In 1945 Cloyce married Blanche Camille Morton and had 4 children: Charlene, Cloyce Jr., Jack, and Beckie. They were divorced in 1954. In 1955 he married Olive Arlene Thomas-Davis and had three children: Duane, Christina, and Jeri he also welcomed her children Gregory and Douglas in to his life. In July 1993 Arlene passed away. Cloyce then married Bonnie Lorraine Anderson-Neil in June of 1994 and welcomed her daughters Lorraine and Renea in to his life. He spent 43 years on Mt. Spokane and 11 in Spokane. Cloyce was a co-owner of Preedy Bros. Tires and Automotive. He loved his woodshop and his little tractor, as well as the Spokane Indians and Harlem Globetrotters. He was a member of Foothills Community Church and Morgan Acres Community Church. He was also a volunteer firefighter for the Mt. Spokane Fire Dept for 22 years, a member of the Washington state Callers Assoc. for 52 years, and a member of the Mt. Dew Boys band for 22 years. He called 30 years for the Barnstompers and 22 years for the Whirlaways. Cloyce also played guitar for Day Out With The Blind and music ministry with Banjo Bob at nursing homes. He was preceded in death by his wife Arlene; children: Cloyce Jr., Charlene, and Duane, as well as his parents Maude and Evert Preedy. He is survived by his wife Bonnie; children: Jack, Beckie, Christina, and Jeri; step-children: Gregory, Douglas, Lorraine, and Renea: brothers: Ernest, Melvin, and Dale and their wives and 17 grandchildren and13 great-grandchildren. A memorial Service will be held on November 11, 2011 at 3:00PM at Foothills Community Church, 11102 N. Forkner Rd. Memorial contributions may be made at the service or in care of Morgan Acres Community Church, 7319 N. Regal St., Spokane, WA 99207.
