Corbin Kusz was born in Fairbanks, Alaska, to Charity Kusz, and he returned to Alaska most summers of his life.  The remainder of the year he spent in Spokane, Washington with the small family who cared deeply for him.  He was known as a simple person, one who was easily taken advantage of because he always believed in the benevolence of people, in their kindness and goodwill toward him.  He attended services at Kehilat HaMashiach Messianic Synagogue and Life Center church; he was among the most enthusiastic singers of their sacred music.  He was predeceased by his great-uncle Ian Kusz and his great-aunt Leslie Kusz.  Survivors include his mother, Charity Kusz; grandmother Natalie Kusz; brother Julius Kusz; and great-aunt Bethel Kusz.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 9 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at Life Center, 1201 N. Government Way, Spokane.
