Craig William Brown Obituary Craig William Brown, age 47, of Deer Park, WA was unexpectedly taken home to heaven to be with his Savior on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Craig was born on June 17, 1976, in Spokane, WA to Leon and Sheila Brown. He grew up in Deer Park and attended Deer Park High School where he played varsity basketball and was the salutatorian of his graduating class. He then went on to earn a Bachelor of Sciences degree at the University of Idaho. Craig was a kind and gentle soul who loved a good joke. He called Deer Park home, but his connection to the outdoors lead him to many years as a Park Ranger at Priest Lake, ID and the Cataldo Mission in Cataldo, ID. Most recently, Craig spent his working hours closer to home as a Water Treatment specialist and Landfill Monitoring Technician. Craig is survived by his children: Chelsea Brown, of Seattle, WA; Haileigh Brown and Noah Brown, both of Deer Park, WA; his Father Leon Brown, of Deer Park, WA; and sister Dana Beery, of Wichita, KS. He is preceded in death by his mother, Sheila Brown. A public memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Heritage Funeral Home.
