Curtis Parsons Obituary (Age 56) Curtis was born on October 18, 1952 in Spokane and passed away on October 13, 2009 at the age of 56 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was a lifetime resident of Spokane and graduated from Shadle Park High School in 1971. He was employed as the Area Sales Manager at Core-Mark International up until the time of his illness. It was here at Core-Mark that he formed many long and lasting friendships with many of his customers and co-workers. He touched the lives of so many people with his witty humor and genuine love of people and life. Curtis lived his life to the fullest through his many travels, camping, golfing and organizing games for family functions. He was preceded in death by his mother Carol Parsons. He is survived by his wife Debbie of 34 years, father Mark Parsons, brother Larry Parsons of Spokane, Daryl Parsons and his wife Jean of Davenport, five nephews, Marty, Casey and Matt Parsons and Blaine and Brandon Akers, one niece, Monica Bentz, sister-in-law Barbie Akers and mother-in-law Barbara Brown. A Celebration of Life memorial luncheon service will be held Friday, October 16th at 1:00 p.m. in the Commons Building, at Mukogawa Fort Wright, 4000 W. Randolph Rd., Spokane, WA. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice of Spokane or the Hospice House.
