Cyrus Joe Williams Obituary
(Age 83) Cyrus Joe Williams passed away May 14, 2017 at his home in Spokane, WA surrounded by his family. Joe was born on January 3, 1934 in Plains, MT to Cyrus E. and Byrle R. Williams. He graduated high school in Polson, MT and went on to attend Montana State University, Wenatchee Valley Community College and obtained his BA in Business from Central Washington University. Joe served in the US Army from 1955-1957. Joe and his wife, Shari, enjoyed 43 years of marriage together. In the 50s, he toured with Les Brown and His Band of Renown as a trumpeter and he cofounded the Wenatchee British Brass Band. Joe enjoyed his time coaching, umpiring, managing and sponsoring City League Baseball and Softball for all ages for over 20 years in Wenatchee, WA. He was also an avid fisherman but above all, he loved his wife and his family.
Joe is survived by his wife, Shari Williams; children, Brandon (Ana) Williams, Bobbi (John) Loeffen, Eric (Heather) Williams and Jason (Sandee) Williams; grandchildren, Erika Edmonds, Aaron Edmonds, Jacob Williams, Sam Williams, Sydney Williams, Nicolas Williams, Mariana Williams, Sofia Williams and Santiago Williams; and great-grandchildren, Hunter Walker and Rianna Walker. A private family memorial will be held and Joe will be inurned at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake.
