David Allen Pierce Obituary David Allen Pierce passed away on Saturday, April 16, after a brief illness. He was born in Portland, OR, on December 30, 1942, to Forrest S. and Naomi R. Pierce. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Gladys I. White and brother Gilbert L. Pierce. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie C. Pierce, his brother Brian Pierce (Barbara), sons David A. Pierce, Jr., Donald B. Pierce and Ronald Kinville, daughter Roberta J. Stueckle and numerous nephews, nieces and grandchildren. David served in the USAF and worked as an electrician, a building inspector, a home builder, a multiple business owner and a private investigator. He was a pilot and certified instructor as well as a certified WDFW Master Hunter. David volunteered as a hunter education instructor, cleared roads and trails for hunters on Inland Paper properties and served as a member of SPD?s Senior Volunteers. David?s work ethic, determination and service to others defined his character. A Memorial Service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Monday, April 25, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be available from 12 noon until the start of the service. Private interment will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
