David K. Hayes, Sr. Obituary Heaven became brighter in the early morning of March 25th when a new Angel,David K. Hayes Sr. joined his Lord and Savior. David was born on September 24, 1933 in Gainesville, TX one of seven children born to Howard Harold Hayes and Christine Annie Hayes (Mellin). Survived by his loving wife of 51 years Joanne Hayes, daughter Cindy and Gary McKernan of Spokane, WA, sons David and Susan Hayes of Edmonds, WA, Kevin and Shan Hayes of Harrington, WA, Steven and Patti Hayes of Spokane, WA; brothers Daniel and Philip, sister Marie Linn; ten grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Father and three brothers. Memorial Service Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 1:00 pm, First Assembly of God Church, 828 W. Indiana Avenue, Spokane, WA. On behalf of David's wishes, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Union Gospel Mission in the name of David K. Hayes Sr.
